Call for Poets and Artists with Disabilities for Poetry Slam and Art Exhibition. Deadline June 1, 2014.
Call for Poets with Disabilities for Poetry Slam 

 

In celebration of the 24th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), we are thrilled to seek poets with disabilities to participate in a Poetry Slam. We are looking for poets who can captivate, connect with, and energize an audience. Good presentation skills a must! The call is open to poets of all ages living in New England who have a disability. The deadline for submissions is June 1, 2014. The Poetry Slam will take place in Boston on July 23rd from 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the Institute for Human Centered Design at 200 Portland St. Boston.

 

 

Call for Artists with Disabilities

  

In honor of the 24th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), we are proud to host an exhibition of artist with disabilities at the Institute for Human Centered Design (IHCD). The goal of this show is to celebrate the ADA by showcasing the works of artists with disabilities. The call is open to artists of all ages who are living in New England and have a disability. Submissions are due by June 1, 2014. The exhibition will take place at the Institute for Human Centered Design, 200 Portland St. Boston from June 26th through July 28th.
